  • Jazz Behind the Green Door. 6pm every second Wednesday of the month at St Stephens Uniting. Meet new friends, grab something to eat and drink and listen to jazz. It's food for the body and soul!

About me: 

Hi I'm Kathryn, I am a Chaplain at the University of Sydney and the Sydney Conservatorium of Music. I'm the friendly face you’ll see at Bible Studies, social events and O-Days :) I love having a chat with anyone, and especially love hearing people’s stories. 

I am a classic Church Nerd – you’ll find me at St Stephen’s Uniting Church on Sunday mornings and Burwood Uniting Church on Sunday evenings. I am also a Lay Preacher, so from time to time I may be at your church filling in for your regular Minister and leading worship or preaching the sermon. I especially love the stories of the Old Testament, with its wild tales of women wielding tent pegs and left-handed assassins; and its stories of men and women who will follow the sound of God’s call to new and unexpected places.

I am studying theology, although I still think of myself as an accountant (let’s just up the nerd factor….), which I was for many years. I sing loudly and sometimes in tune, and I play the piano badly. My favourite weekends are spent playing board games with friends.
